The fell village Saariselkä is located in the municipality of Inari, some 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, beside the Saariselkä fell region and Urho Kekkonen national park.
Saariselkä tourist centre is constructed in a very compact manner, and once there you will find how great that is. You don't need transfers here, as all services are within a few hundred metres.

RESTAURANTS:
Restaurant Pirtti is a cozy 530-person dining, social and dance restaurant. A la Carte, soup lunches, steak of the day, burgers, pizza, hot wings and more. Also the most popular After Ski meeting place.
Restaurant Siula is a traditional 1000-persons dining and dance restaurant. Breakfast, dinner and a la carte Lapp delicacies. Seasonal dance bands.
Restaurant Lutto is a 400-seat restaurant with variety of beers and ciders. Karaoke, billiard, darts, board games.
Special performances and live music during high season. This is the place for the young and young-hearted to drop in.
Lappish Hut “kota” is just next to the main building: heated floor, open fire and reindeer hides keep you warm. Food prepared on the open fire. Kota is for 10-50 persons.

FOUR-STAR ACCOMMODATION AND CONFERENCE CENTRE

Saariselkä Tunturi Hotel has a new accommodation and conference centre in Saariselkä. Construction of the Gielas hotel project in Saariselkä’s most central location was completed in November 2008.
The new building covering almost 6,000 m² contains 84 sauna-equipped rooms, a restaurant, conference rooms and shops.

The four-star Gielas is undeniably Saariselkä’s best hotel in terms of quality. Gielas has a total of 84 rooms, 77 of which are superior-class twin rooms of over 30m², six are junior suites and there is one Gielas suite. Each room has its own sauna, balcony, bathtub and internet connection.
The number of rooms and facilities has been planned so that even a large group arriving from overseas on its own charter aircraft can be accommodated in one building. The new Gielas accommodation and conference centre has its own high-quality, Scandinavian restaurant Kaltio. Its main function is à la carte –restaurant – in addition to this it serves guests with breakfast.

LAPLAND HOTEL RIEKONLINNA

Lapland Hotel Riekonlinna was originally designed to provide first class service to conference guests but offers services to holidaymakers as well. Hotel Riekonlinna’s strength lies in its versatility: Restaurant Linnansali, Cabinet Asehuone, Bar Takkabaari, Lounge Bar Linnanvintti, Business Centre, meeting rooms, Aurora Borealis Room, children’s playroom, saunas, ski maintenance and storage space, laundry and drying rooms, souvenir shop Linnanvouti, massage and solarium

196 hotel rooms of which some are family rooms, anti-allergy and smoke-free rooms and 48 rooms with sauna. 32 are "family rooms" suites and junior suites are 4 (1 with tub, 3 sauna). All rooms feature shower/WC, balcony, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, satellite TV, radio, phone, drying closet. All rooms at Hotel Riekonlinna have been renovated in 2002. A new extension with 72 new rooms were completed in September 2003. Total accommodation for ca. 600 persons.

In the Restaurant Rakka you can observe the Saariselkä main square while having nice dinner and you can order from ala carte or have pizzas from Rosso Express or taste hamburgers of Houseburger. The ala carte menu includes i.a. delicious Lappish cuisine, juicy steaks, tasty salmon dishes and pastas. Rakka can also be used as a meeting cabinet for 20 persons in diplomat form.
